Inside the community hubs, one stands out: Web3 Universe, the in-house web3 community central where armies of real gamers can explore new web3 games and projects.
Here the community can learn about new launches, test new games, connect directly with builders to provide feedback, and participate in tournaments and quests specially designed for each game. Engagement is rewarded with XP and monthly rewards based on leaderboard rankings.
This hub was built to be a seamless bridge between web2 and web3, giving publishers exposure to the wider market of players, streamers and influencers to position their titles and build grassroots communities.
Once a game or a community is ready, it can create and launch its own Hub. Think of Web3 Universe as a community incubator and accelerator for new web3 titles.
The Web3 Universe Hub is managed by the Fitchin core team, but in the future will be - like the other community hubs - decentralized to give the community control over it. This will allow our web3 community to own the hub and to build new features on top of our infrastructure, unlocking additional value for our ecosystem.
